Online Applications are invited from Female Candidates who have passed MSc (Nursing) / BSc (Nursing) for grant of Short Service Commission in The Military Nursing Service (MNS) in Indian Armed Forces. Candidates selected for grant of SSC (Short Service Commission) in the MNS will be liable to serve for five years extendable to a total tenure of fourteen (5+5+4) years, anywhere in India in the same way as Military Nursing Service (Regular) Officers of the Armed Forces. Educational Qualification:- Candidates must have Passed MSc Nursing / BSc Nursing from INC recognized University and should have registered Nurse and registered Midwife from a State Nursing Council.
Age Limits:- Candidates must be between 21 to 35 years of Age on Last Date of Application. OR Should be born between 25 December 1988 and 26 December 2002 (Both dates inclusive).
Application Fees:- All Candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs. 900/- as Application Fees.
Selection Procedure:- 1. Computer Based Examination:- Candidates have to qualify a Computer Based Examination (CBE) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) On 14 January 2024 at the selected Centers in India. This Exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions based on Nursing, English Language and General Intelligence. The qualifying marks of CBE is 50% and there is no negative marking.
2. Interview:- Candidates as per merit on the basis of written test will be called for interview at Delhi. The Process of Interview and Medical examination may take 3-5 days.
3. Medical Examination:- Candidates who have cleared stage I and stage II of Written Test & interview will be followed by a medical examination.
4. Final selection:- The Final selection of Candidates will be based on combined merit of written test & interview, subject to medical fitness.
